Chandigarh, July 21 -- In a major push to bridge the skill gap and improve employability, the Haryana Government has decided to equip Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across the state with advanced machinery and cutting-edge technical equipment, enabling students to acquire industry-ready skills in line with the requirements of leading manufacturing and industrial companies.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the High-Level Purchase Committee of the Skill Development and Industrial Training Department, chaired by Minister of State for Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Gaurav Gautam at the Haryana Civil Secretariat on Monday.
