Chandigarh, July 10 -- With the monsoon gathering pace, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday announced that the state government is constructing rainwater harvesting borewells and strengthening drainage infrastructure to tackle urban waterlogging while improving groundwater recharge across the state.
Responding to questions on monsoon preparedness, the Chief Minister said the government has adopted a comprehensive strategy to ensure that heavy rainfall does not inconvenience the public.
