Panchkula, Oct. 6 -- The Haryana government has notified amendments to simplify the permission framework for industrial purposes, providing for online self-certification under which permission generated through the mechanism will be deemed to have been granted by the Director of Town and Country Planning.
The Town and Country Planning Department issued an extraordinary gazette notification on Tuesday, amending the Punjab Scheduled Roads and Controlled Areas Restriction of Unregulated Development Rules, 1965, as applied to Haryana.
The amended provisions have been notified as the Punjab Scheduled Roads and Controlled Areas Restriction of Unregulated Development (Haryana Amendment) Rules, 2026.
