Chandigarh, July 2 -- Haryana has secured the second position among all states in the country for registrations on the recently launched 'TB Mukt Bharat App', reflecting increasing public participation in the state's drive to eliminate tuberculosis through digital initiatives, Health Minister Aarti Singh Rao said on Thursday.

The minister urged citizens, corporate organisations and voluntary groups to register as 'Nikshay Mitras' and support TB patients by providing nutritional and psychosocial assistance. She said active community involvement would be key to achieving the Prime Minister's vision of a TB-free India, expressing confidence that Haryana could eventually emerge as the country's first TB-free state.
