Panchkula, Sept. 9 -- Haryana today issued a revised policy for setting up nursing homes in licensed residential colonies across the state, allowing qualified doctors to operate such facilities on residential plots owned by them or on plots leased for a minimum of 10 years.
The policy, issued by the Town and Country Planning Department, supersedes the instructions dated February 10. The government said the framework was envisaged with a view to a demand from the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the need to ensure access to quality healthcare facilities in neighbourhoods.
