Chandigarh, July 24 -- Haryana has made significant strides in its campaign against Tuberculosis, emerging as the second-highest ranking state in the nationwide registrations on the TB Mukt Bharat App while substantially improving preventive treatment, early diagnosis and patient care.
The state has registered 35,229 users on the app, increased TB Preventive Treatment (TPT) coverage to 49 per cent, expanded molecular (NAAT) testing to 67 per cent, and brought 71 per cent of eligible TB patients under differentiated care. The progress was reviewed on Friday during a meeting of the State TB Elimination Campaign chaired by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi.
