Chandigarh, July 1 -- In a significant relief for government employees suffering from serious medical conditions, the Haryana Government has decided to protect the Assured Career Progression (ACP) benefits of employees who decline promotions due to notified chronic illnesses.
The Finance Department has issued a clarification stating that such employees will continue to receive the financial benefits already granted under the ACP scheme despite opting out of promotion on medical grounds.
