Neeraj BaliPanchkula, Oct. 23 -- Haryana Energy Minister Anil Vij on Friday appealed to striking electricity employees to end their agitation and resume duty, saying the state government was ready to discuss all possible options to resolve the dispute, including invoking Section 108 of the Electricity Act, 2003.
The minister's fresh appeal came amid a three-day statewide strike by power employees and engineers protesting the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission's (HERC) decision to grant a parallel electricity distribution licence to a private company for Gurugram and Nuh districts.
