Panchkula, Aug. 19 -- Haryana Police has stepped up monitoring of social media platforms to prevent the glorification of criminals and the promotion of criminal activities, with Hisar police conducting a counselling session for youngsters to keep them away from the influence of offenders.

Acting on the directions of Hisar Superintendent of Police Siddhant Jain, a police team counselled a group of youths at the Hisar court complex, who had arrived from areas of Hisar and Fatehabad.

A Haryana police spokesman said the youth were advised not to like, share, or circulate videos and other social media content that glorify criminals, criminal lifestyles, or illegal activities. Such content can amplify offenders' influence and may inadvertently ...
