Panchkula, June 19 -- Haryana Police has rescued a 30-year-old mentally challenged man who was allegedly being kept as a bonded labourer in Shahbad village under the Tigao police station area of Faridabad district. Police have arrested one accused in connection with the case and launched further investigation.

According to a Haryana Police spokesperson, the Tigao police station team received information on June 17 that a mentally vulnerable man was being illegally confined and forced to work as a bonded labourer in Shahbad village.

Acting swiftly on the tip-off, a police team reached the spot and rescued the victim, a resident of Tajpur village.
