Panchkula, July 30 -- Haryana Police has increased efforts against animal cruelty, rescuing 99 animals and arresting four individuals in two operations in Hisar district.
Cases have been registered under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, according to a Haryana Police spokesperson.
The spokesperson stated that teams from Azad Nagar and Barwala Police Stations, supervised by Hisar Superintendent of Police Siddhant Jain, conducted the operations as part of the district's zero-tolerance policy on animal cruelty.
