Panchkula, July 29 -- Haryana Police have rolled out an extensive, multi-layered security and traffic plan for Kanwar Yatra-2026, with nearly 2,000 officers stationed across Faridabad to guarantee a smooth and safe pilgrimage.
Over 25 checkpoints, along with drone and CCTV surveillance, SWAT teams, women police, Crime Branch officers, and emergency units will be on constant watch from July 30 onward.
Haryana Police spokesperson said that elaborate security arrangements have been made under the direction of Faridabad Police Commissioner Satender Kumar Gupta.
