Panchkula, July 22 -- Haryana Police has intensified its crackdown on drug trafficking, with Hisar Police registering 25 cases under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and arresting 27 accused during the past one month as part of a special anti-drug campaign.
A Haryana Police spokesperson said the action was carried out under the supervision of Hisar Superintendent of Police Siddhant Jain, IPS, as part of the state's sustained drive against narcotics. The campaign is aimed not only at arresting drug peddlers but also at dismantling the entire supply chain of illegal narcotics operating in the district.
