Panchkula, July 9 -- Haryana Police have intensified their crackdown on cyber criminals and organised fraud networks, arresting eight accused in four separate cases involving cyber fraud, bank account mule operations and a fake job racket.
The accused were allegedly involved in facilitating cyber frauds worth over Rs 32.79 lakh, including a Rs 30 lakh railway job scam, a Rs 2.30 lakh online fruit supply fraud and a Rs 49,000 credit card fraud, while another case relates to a cyber fraud racket that duped victims in the name of Char Dham helicopter bookings, a spokesperson of Haryana Police said on Thursday.
