Panchkula, July 19 -- In a major road safety crackdown, Haryana Police booked more than 3,200 traffic violators in Gurugram during two special enforcement drives against wrong-side driving and drunken driving, imposing fines worth Rs 18.55 lakh, impounding vehicles, and initiating suspension of driving licences of offenders.
Sharing the details, a Haryana Police spokesman said Gurugram Traffic Police has intensified enforcement against dangerous traffic violations to reduce road accidents and improve traffic discipline across the city.
