Panchkula, July 15 -- Haryana Police has arrested a man for allegedly providing a bank account used by cyber fraudsters to siphon off Rs 98,500 from a victim after his mobile phone was hacked through a malicious link, a police spokesman said on Wednesday.
According to a Haryana Police spokesman, the accused, Sandeep Gaur (42), a resident of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, was arrested by the Cyber Police Station, NIT, Faridabad, on July 14. He was produced before a local court and subsequently remanded to judicial custody.
