Panchkula, June 18 -- Haryana Police has arrested three more persons for allegedly duping people in a Facebook lottery cyber scam, taking the total number of arrests in the case to 11.
The arrests were made by the Cyber Crime Police Station, Manesar, Gurugram, during the ongoing investigation into a fraud in which a victim was duped on the pretext of winning a lottery worth Rs 10 lakh through a Facebook advertisement.
According to police, the complainant had approached the Cyber Crime Police Station, Manesar, on April 29, 2026, alleging that after clicking on a lottery advertisement on Facebook, he received a WhatsApp call from fraudsters claiming that he had won a lottery prize of Rs 10 lakh.
