Panchkula, Aug. 27 -- Haryana Police have arrested six more accused in a Rs 1.24-crore cyber fraud in which a senior citizen from Faridabad was allegedly terrorised by fraudsters posing as CBI officials and made to transfer his savings to multiple bank accounts on the pretext of verification, a police spokesperson said.
With the latest arrests, 13 accused have so far been arrested in the case, as seven persons had been apprehended earlier, the spokesperson of Haryana Police said.
The six accused have been identified as Raunak Pal, Rakesh Pal, Shubham Rai, Aman Dubey, Omkar and Ranjit, all residents of Uttar Pradesh. The arrests were made by the Cyber Police Station Central, Faridabad.
