Panchkula, July 30 -- Haryana Police arrested a man wanted in a rape and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act case.
The accused changed locations multiple times to avoid arrest. Azad Nagar Police in Hisar apprehended him during a special drive against wanted criminals, according to a spokesperson for Haryana Police.
The spokesperson said the operation was carried out under the supervision of Hisar Superintendent of Police Siddhant Jain.
According to the spokesperson, the case was registered on April 3, 2026, after a Hisar resident lodged a complaint alleging that the accused had raped her minor daughter.
