Chandigarh, July 6 -- Haryana is planning to strengthen its policy research and evidence-based governance framework by linking the Swarna Jayanti Haryana Institute for Fiscal Management (SJHIFM) with Kurukshetra University as a recognised research centre, officials said.
The proposal, reviewed by Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, is aimed at enabling SJHIFM to run doctoral programmes and develop into a multidisciplinary centre focused on fiscal management, digital governance and public policy research, in line with the state's "Viksit Haryana-2047" vision.
