Panchkula, Aug. 18 -- In a significant step towards giving a formal record to property and ownership rights in Abadi Deh areas, the Haryana Government has notified a comprehensive framework for surveying properties, recording ownership claims and preparing permanent records of rights.
The rules also provide for issuance of title and ownership-related certificates to occupants whose names figure in the final record.
The Haryana Abadi Deh (Vesting, Recording, and Resolving of Ownership Rights) Rules, 2026 were notified on August 17 and came into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
