Panchkula, Sept. 1 -- The Haryana government has brought a new belt of Karnal district - extending from the Kachhwa-Naraina side in the north towards Gharaunda in the south, with its western boundary running along villages including Staundi, Jani, Jundla, Hathlana, Mandhai and Zarifabad, under statutory development control, citing the area's potential for building, industrial, commercial, institutional and recreational activities.
The newly notified territory has been designated "Additional Controlled Area-VII, Karnal." Its boundaries connect with several previously notified controlled areas, including Nilokheri-Taraori, Karnal, the controlled-area extension around Madhuban and Gharaunda.
