Chandigarh, July 24 -- Haryana has virtually completed the Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026 of electoral rolls, with verification covering 20,654,471 of the state's 20,655,929 registered electors, leaving only 1,458 electors pending across the state.

The exercise, carried out by 20,629 Booth Level Officers (BLOs), has also resulted in the digitisation of 17,270,135 Enumeration Forms (EFs), accounting for 83.61 per cent of the electorate. The latest status report places the overall completion of the verification exercise at 99.99 per cent.

According to the district-wise SIR status report, 21 of Haryana's 22 districts have completed the exercise with zero pending electors. Hisar is the only district where 1,458 electors remain pending....
