Panchkula, July 10 -- With cyber frauds and data breaches emerging as one of the biggest challenges in the digital era, Haryana has initiated steps to strengthen the protection of citizens' personal data and government digital infrastructure by preparing a comprehensive cybersecurity framework for the state.

The initiative gathered momentum on Thursday as the Department of Information Technology, Electronics and Communication (DITECH) and the Citizen Resources Information Department (CRID), in collaboration with the National e-Governance Division (NeGD) under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), organised a State Consultative Workshop on "Strengthening Cyber Security Frameworks for State Data" in Chandigarh.
