Chandigarh, June 29 -- A 26-year-old man from Haryana's Ambala district has been arrested by the Dehradun Police for allegedly issuing a bomb threat against police stations across Uttarakhand through a social media post, officials said on Monday.

The accused, identified as Jaspreet Singh, was taken into custody on June 28 after an investigation linked him to an Instagram account that allegedly carried a post warning of explosions at all police stations in Uttarakhand on June 25, 2026. The message later circulated on other social media platforms, drawing the attention of law enforcement agencies.
