Panchkula, Aug. 26 -- Haryana has rolled out fresh rules for private coaching institutes, making it mandatory for both existing and new centres to register with the District Authority.

Institutes must now reveal crucial details such as fees, refund policies, batch sizes, teacher qualifications, and the facilities they offer students.

The Higher Education Department notified the Haryana Private Coaching Institutes (Registration and Regulation) Rules, 2026 on August 24 under the Haryana Registration and Regulation of Private Coaching Institutes Act, 2024.

The rules came into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
