Panchkula, Aug. 12 -- The Haryana Department of Art and Cultural Affairs will organise a state-level Been team competition at the Multi Art Culture Centre of Haryana Kala Parishad in Kurukshetra on September 2, 2026.
The competition will begin at 10 am and aims to promote Haryana's traditional folk music while preserving the state's rich cultural heritage.
The winning teams will receive cash prizes, with Rs 75,000 for the first position, Rs 60,000 for the second and Rs 50,000 for the third. Five consolation prizes of Rs 10,000 each will also be awarded.
