Panchkula, July 9 -- In a significant step towards promoting safe, inclusive, and gender-sensitive workplaces, the Haryana Government has notified the Mahila Samarth Sansthan Award Scheme-2026 to recognise institutions demonstrating exemplary practices in creating women-friendly work environments.
The scheme, notified by the Women and Child Development Department, has come into force with immediate effect following its publication in the Haryana Government Gazette.
It aims to encourage safe workplaces, strengthen compliance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act), promote greater participation of women in employment and leadership roles, encourage women-friendly workpla...
