Panchkula, June 12 -- The Haryana Government has announced an increase in Dearness Relief (DR) for state government pensioners and family pensioners drawing pension under the 5th Pay Commission structure.
According to an order issued by the Finance Department, the enhanced Dearness Relief will be implemented in two phases. The DR has been increased from 466 per cent to 474 per cent of the basic pension/family pension with effect from July 1, 2025. It will be further enhanced from 474 per cent to 483 per cent with effect from January 1, 2026.
The order, issued with the approval of the Governor of Haryana, applies to pensioners and family pensioners who continue to draw pension under the pre-revised 5th Pay Commission pay structure.
