Panchkula, Oct. 29 -- The Haryana government has launched a public appeal seeking the donation of privately held historical documents, manuscripts and other records of administrative, political, economic, social, religious and cultural significance as part of its Abhilekh Daan Abhiyan, aimed at preserving the state's documentary heritage for future generations.
The Department of Archives, Haryana, has urged individuals and families possessing valuable historical records to contribute them to the Haryana State Archives, where they can be systematically preserved and protected against deterioration or permanent loss.
