Panchkula, July 30 -- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday launched a bold vision for a greener Haryana, unveiling plans for 44 hectares of lush Miyawaki forests, fresh incentives for farmers to protect rare trees, and sweeping plantation drives on Panchayat and public lands.

The Pran Vayu Devta and Panchvati initiatives will also see new growth, while drain Nos. 1 and 2 in Karnal are set for major upgrades to boost water management. Highlighting Haryana's green achievements, the Chief Minister shared that 1.52 crore saplings have taken root in 2025-26, 58 herbal parks now flourish with medicinal plants, and 610 Van Mitras are safeguarding these new forests.
