Chandigarh, July 23 -- Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman of the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC) and former Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of SJVN Ltd., passed away on Thursday morning after a brief illness, triggering an outpouring of grief across the power sector and administrative circles.
According to official information, Sharma was admitted to a private hospital in Panchkula on July 19 after his health deteriorated. He breathed his last during treatment on Thursday morning.
