Chandigarh, April 20 -- Haryana Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) A Sreenivas has announced comprehensive guidelines for media personnel to ensure regulated and transparent coverage of the upcoming assembly general elections and various by-elections.
Aligned with the provisions of the Conduct of Election Rules, 1961, these directives aim to standardise media access across polling stations and counting centres. According to the CEO, formal authorisation letters will be issued to journalists through the state's Information and Public Relations Department, following a thorough verification process of the respective media houses.
