Chandigarh, July 4 -- Taking serious note of reports that candidates appearing in the ongoing Haryana Police recruitment drive may be misusing anabolic steroids to artificially enhance muscle mass and gain an unfair advantage in physical efficiency tests, the Haryana Food and Drug Administration launched a special enforcement drive in Karnal district.
The special decoy operation was conducted under the directions of Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Manoj Kumar and State Drug Controller Ripen Mehta, a government spokesperson said.
The drive was jointly led by Drug Control Officer Ritu Mehla (Karnal-2) and Drug Control Officer Vikas Rathi (Karnal-1).
