Panchkula, Sept. 1 -- The Haryana government has declared a specified area in Baholi, Panipat district, as an "Urban Area" after concluding that the territory has potential for building activities, bringing it within the scope of the Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas Act, 1975.
The declaration has been made by the state's Town and Country Planning Department under clause (o) of Section 2 of the Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas Act, 1975.
