Chandigarh, July 29 -- Haryana Public Health Engineering and Public Works (Buildings & Roads) Minister Ranbir Gangwa has announced a zero-tolerance policy for sewer and manhole safety violations. He stated that officials will be held personally accountable if a worker dies due to negligence.
The Minister ordered the department to guarantee that no worker steps into a sewer or manhole without full safety gear and protocols in place. He made it clear that lapses in enforcing these safety measures will bring tough consequences for those in charge.
