Panchkula, Sept. 19 -- Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday announced that Rs 5.15 crore collected as interest on EDC and IDC from Kashmiri Pandits allotted plots in Sector 2, Bahadurgarh, would be refunded.
He also assured land for a Mata Lalleshwari Bhawan if the organisation applies under prescribed rules.
Saini made the announcements while addressing the 705th birth anniversary celebrations of Mata Lalleshwari at Bani Mandir Gaushala in Gurugram.
The Chief Minister said the state government would allot land for a Mata Lalleshwari Bhawan in accordance with the rules once the organisation applies. He also announced the recarpeting of the approach road to the gaushala, following a demand from its management committee.
