Panchkula, Aug. 31 -- Haryana is likely to witness another spell of rain over the coming days, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting isolated heavy rainfall over Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi from September 2 to 5.

The region has already experienced intense rainfall, with Kalka in Panchkula recording 21 cm of rain in the 24 hours ending at 8:30 am on August 31.

According to the IMD forecast, isolated to scattered rainfall is likely over Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi during August 31 and September 1-2. Rainfall activity is expected to increase thereafter, with fairly widespread to widespread rainfall forecast during September 3-5.
