Panchkula, July 10 -- Pitching horticulture, value addition and exports as the next drivers of farm prosperity, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday said farmers must move beyond being mere producers to becoming value creators and exporters if incomes are to witness sustainable growth.

He asserted that India's vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047 would be shaped from its farms and that the real transformation would come when Haryana's mangoes reached supermarkets in London, New York, Dubai and Tokyo.
