Chandigarh, July 21 -- Haryana has accelerated plans to build a state-wide helicopter emergency response network, with the government deciding to upgrade helipads near five major medical colleges to expand air ambulance services and reduce the time taken to transport critically ill and accident victims. The decision was taken at the eighth meeting of the Board of Directors of the Haryana Airports Development Corporation (HADC), chaired by Civil Aviation Minister and Corporation Chairman Vipul Goel here on Tuesday.
