Panchkula, Aug. 17 -- The Haryana Government has begun the process of appointing a new Chairman of the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC), with the key regulatory post vacant since July 23, 2026.
The Energy Department has invited applications for the post, fixing September 3, 2026, at 5 pm as the deadline for receipt of applications by post or e-mail.
The Chairman will receive a fixed monthly pay of Rs 2.25 lakh at the apex scale of the Pay Matrix, Level 17, subject to deduction of the gross pension, including any commuted portion, if already received.
