Gurugram, Oct. 8 -- The Haryana government has awarded a Rs 26.20 crore contract to establish, operate, and manage 30 Urban Ayushman Arogya Mandirs across Gurugram district, targeting slum dwellers, low-income households, and other underserved communities to improve access to primary healthcare.

The Haryana Medical Services Corporation Limited (HMSCL) has issued the Rs 26,20,80,000 work order to ASR Hospitals (India) Private Limited for a two-year period beginning from the date of the agreement, Health Minister Arti Singh Rao said on Thursday.

The initiative aims to address gaps in primary healthcare access in Gurugram, where economically weaker residents often rely on overstretched public hospitals for basic medical services.
