New Delhi, Oct. 27 -- Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan participated in the two-day 12th BRICS Parliamentary Forum held at the Central Hall of Parliament House in New Delhi, where delegates discussed ways to strengthen parliamentary cooperation and promote people-centric development.
The forum, chaired by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 26 and concluded on October 27. Presiding officers from 21 countries, including BRICS member and partner countries, along with presiding officers of legislative bodies from Indian states, participated in the event.
