Panchkula, July 26 -- Haryana Police have arrested a man accused of molesting a Class 8 student in Sirsa district and sent him to judicial custody under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, officials said on Sunday.
A spokesperson of Haryana Police said the accused, identified as Ajay Kumar, was arrested by Ding Police as part of the state's ongoing special campaign against crimes against women. The accused was apprehended based on specific intelligence and evidence collected during the investigation.
