Panchkula, Sept. 1 -- Haryana Police is moving to institutionalise the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in policing, with preparations underway to constitute an AI Task Force led by an IPS-rank officer nominated as the force's AI Officer, according to a press release issued by Haryana Police headquarters here today.
The initiative aims to promote the practical and secure use of AI in policing and to make investigations and citizen services smarter, faster, and more effective, particularly amid the changing nature of crime and growing digital challenges.
