Panchkula, June 24 -- Panchkula Police have arrested the driver of a tractor-trolley allegedly involved in a road accident that claimed the life of a bus conductor and left several passengers and staff members injured on National Highway-7 near Raipur Rani.
According to police, the accident occurred in the early hours of June 20 when a private travel bus was returning to Panchkula, Mohali and Baddi after dropping passengers in Uttar Pradesh and picking up passengers for the return journey. Around 3.30 a.m., near Golpura village on NH-7, a tractor-trolley moving ahead of the bus allegedly made a sudden right turn near a brick kiln without giving any signal or indicator.
