Kaithal, Sept. 12 -- National Lok Adalat, organized today in the judicial complex Kaithal, settled 13,260 cases worth over Rs 9.30 crore by mutual consent, out of a total of 26,842 pending cases kept for hearing in it.
Through Lok Adalat, cases related to various criminal, NI Act, bank recovery, motor vehicle, labour dispute, revenue and other matters amounting to Rs 9,30,97, 907 were settled, informed District Legal Services Authority Secretary and Chief Judicial Magistrate Kanwal Kumar.
