Pamchkuila, June 13 -- Haryana Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij today took serious exception to the absence of a dedicated fire-fighting facility at the Saha Industrial Growth Centre in Ambala district following a major fire that gutted a glassware manufacturing unit, and directed authorities to immediately station a fire tender in the industrial area.
Inspecting the fire-ravaged factory a day after the incident, Vij expressed concern over the lack of emergency response infrastructure in an industrial estate housing nearly 300 units and employing thousands of workers.
