Kaithal, May 18 -- As part of the drive being run on the orders of SP Manpreet Singh Sudan to nab criminals possessing illegal arms and ammunition, the Anti Vehicle Theft staff arrested an accused with an illegal .315 bore country-made pistol.
A police spokesperson stated that a team of the Anti-Vehicle Theft Staff, was patrolling the Siwan checkpoint. The team received intelligence from sources that a young man, armed with an illegal firearm, was waiting for someone near the Jat Dharamshala, Kaithal.
Kaithal police raided the spot. Upon seeing the police team, a young man began running. He was apprehended on the spot.
