Yamunanagar, Oct. 20 -- Haryana Police have arrested a fifth accused in connection with the murder of a 32-year-old man, who was allegedly beaten to death in the agricultural fields at Nahar Taharpur village on June 6 following an old rivalry, a police official said on Tuesday.
The accused, identified as Pradeep, son of Baljeet and a resident of Nahar Taharpur, was arrested by Crime Branch-1, taking the total number of arrests in the case to five.
Crime Branch-1 in-charge Rajkumar said the victim, Naveen, a resident of Urjani village, was allegedly assaulted and beaten to death in the fields of Nahar Taharpur following a longstanding dispute.
